Older, Wiser, and Cheerfully Sarcastic

I’m older, wiser, and cheerfully sarcastic. I’m also apt to lower the boom, so look out!

No, this is not a rant – it’s a confessional boom.

Because I’m older I can afford more expensive wines. I like spicy Zinfandel. My favorite brand is Seven Deadly Zins.… ...

The Industry of Old Things

The industry of old things = a new way to think. A better way of saying “repurpose” or “get-ridda-da-junk.”

Not “off with the old, bring on the new.” No angst or bad breath from stale air.

Allerton Gardens. In a Heartbeat

A long time ago, in a place called Allerton Gardens on the island of Kauai…

No, this is not a fairytale, though the botanical gardens walks one back in time and place… to sublime.

Allerton is not the Garden of Eden, but close.… ...

Sweet Tooth :-D

So, I had a sweet tooth when I was a youth. Had it removed – and, I think I gained a shiny dime.

Not a bad return for something I didn’t pay for – or earn. Yeah, even as a kid I was a capitalist.ย … ...
