Allergies, Aroma, Busyness, and Bees

As we’ve accelerated the sate-myself vibe – through ‘Starbucks Nation’ to ‘Food Network’ celebrity chefs’ opening their own dining venues – I’ve been one of the left-behinds. I can’t become part of these Millenial trends because… I have allergies. Sadly, I have no sense of scent.

I’m neither interested in sumptuous food nor the high dollar/plate price. I’m a Boomer Babe with allergies.

As a person long-plagued by allergies that create havoc in my airways, I’m consigned. I take two daily allergy meds…

But, this was the worst allergy season in memory because of the abundant rains Рoh well, rain wreaked havoc in my airways, too. Plus some other stuff. Read all about it here https://pjcolandoblog.com/the-california-life-style/

I possess a limited supply of taste backed by a bodacious sense of smell. I helped my patient gardener husband plant abundant flowers in our yard with the intention to attract bees and butterflies.¬†http://Image by <a href=”https://pixabay.com/users/castleguard-2970404/?utm_source=link-attribution&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_campaign=image&amp;utm_content=1537694″>Rebekka D</a> from <a href=”https://pixabay.com/?utm_source=link-attribution&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_campaign=image&amp;utm_content=1537694″>Pixabay</a>

We needed bees to return, to pollinate our lemon tree blossoms and garden edibles, to allow crops to grow.

Are you doing your part to save bees, help crops thrive, to feed the planet and yourself? Do you long for more pleasant aromas in your life, less manure and more mums and peonies and roses and lavender aromas?

YAY! And, may I pun, please and thanks?

Thanks for bee-ing part of something bigger than yourself (sort of like being head ninja captain of a certain insecure writers support group, eh)

Thanks for following and leaving a comment, Alex!
