Self Love: Mind the Gap

If I asked you to name all the things you love, how long would it take you to name yourself?

Let’s get to work to fill that gap.┬áPromise yourself:

  • To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.
  • To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet.
  • To make all your friends feel that there is something in them.
  • To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.
  • To think only of the best, to work only for the best and expect only the best.
  • To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.
  • To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
  • To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile.
  • To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others.
  • To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.

Above all, through-and-through, in and out and under: regard yourself as worthy of love.

You are.

I am.

We all be.

Practice full inclusion in love; no gaps, please and thanks.

    A thought-provoking question, PJ.
Happy Valentine’s Day and best wishes to you and Tami for a successful writing seminar this Saturday.

  2. PJ Colando says:

thanks Lillian. It was a compelling question to me.

I fondly recall my friend, Nancy, and I completing list after list of things we liked as a high school pastime. I doubt if we ever added our names to our personal lists.

And, our workshop was January 20, the day of the Women’s March which you attended, Lillian. Proud to be your friend.
